Decked Out House

Placencia Village proper is approximately varies from 1/4  to 1/2 mile wide and is 1 mile long. Decked Out House is 0.25 miles from the Sea. and 2/3 mile north of the Southern most tip of Placencia Road, the southern most part of the Village.  

Directions to Decked Out House: Driving South from the Placencia airstrip, the house is approximately 1.5 miles south. Once you follow the sharp 90 degree left curve in the main road, you will pass the yellow water tower. Proceed past Atlantic Bank. Take the 2nd right turn onto the south side of the wide  canal oto the west. Many Taxi cab drivers simply know it as the tall yellow and blue house with all the decks in Harbor Place that the Hokey Pokey water taxi passes by.

By Bus: Same directions as above if coming on the Placencia routed bus. Alternatively one may come on the more frequently scheduled bus to Punta Gorda. That bus stops at Independence (AKA Mango Creek). One disembarks there and walks or takes a taxi to the Hokey Pokey water taxi terminal.  The fare is $5US. Tell the driver that you want off at Decked Out House dock ("the yellow house with the decks").
