Belize Caribbean Beach Cottage
One can stroll for miles on the uncrowded Queen's Easement of the beach bordering the Caribbean Sea. Snorkel right off your beach. Enjoy the spacious ocean front thatch roofed palapa furnished with picnic table, loungers and hammocks. Swim in 85 degree water.
The Placencia Peninsula is best known for its beaches, excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities and the Village of Placencia itself. There visitors find many restaurant/bars including some on the beach. Several peninsula tour companies offer eco- river or jungle trips and Mayan Ruin tours.
This studio cottage offers 430 sq ft of interior area as well as a 10 x 18 ft covered veranda. There is a full kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi, and phone. Furnishings include queen bed, futon couch, and dining table. It is best suited for a couple. Maximum accepted: 3 people.
Pepper's Cottage is located 5 miles North of Placencia Village and 2 miles South of Maya Beach. In either area can find terrific cafes, including on the beach.
Area attractions are snorkeling, diving, swimming, Mayan ruins, sailing and Jungle and River eco-tours. Conditions for snorkeling right off Pepper's Beach are sometimes favorible although weather dependent. Snorkel equipment is provided. Also recommended is a snorkel/dive trip with a professioal tour company
Pepper's Cottage is the only guest accommodation on the beachfront lot owned and occupied by Charlie and Linda Burrow. A rental car can be helpful but not absolutley needed due to the availability of buses, taxis and bicycles. The road is now paved.

Dec 15 - June 1 - $65/night/2p
Easter and Christmas weeks: $10/night surcharge
Additional Adult : $10/night, Child: $5
Rates are in US dollars and plus 9% hotel tax.
Two night minimum except Christmas weeks, which require 5 nights.
